TEC 3503 - Fundamentals of Irrigation and Drainage

Prerequisite: MAT 133, MAT 1335, or higher. (All prerequisite courses require a grade of P or C- or better.) Examination of irrigation and drainage fundamentals to include: crop water requirements, soil moisture, irrigation scheduling, surface and subsurface irrigation systems, conveyance, efficiency, origin of drainage problems in agricultural lands, surface and subsurface drainage applications.
