Introduction to garden vegetable production theory and practice; study of the techniques used in larger-scale production of vegetable crops for local markets; hands-on activities in the Kranzush Gardens producing for restaurant use; other topics include vegetable nutrient needs, pest management, growing requirements, harvest procedures, and storage conditions. Two hours lecture, and two hours laboratory. Fall-Odd
