MAT 243 - Statistics II

Prerequisite: BUS 233 or MAT 143 (All prerequisite courses require a grade of P or C- or better). Building on introductory statistical concepts, this course is applied in nature, with an emphasis on statistics in the context of data analytics. Topics may include hypothesis testing and estimation for means, proportions, and variances with one or two variables, sample size determination, ANOVA, linear correlation and regression, multiple regression, time series analysis, and non-parametric methods.
