ENG 233WC - Reformation/Modern Ideals of Character - WI

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisites: 30 credit hours and   (satisfies the College Composition II requirement).  This composition course will examine the teachings of the Reformation and their effect on our understanding of character. Luther’s perspective on salvation by faith alone holds enormous implications for the study of Scripture and for the application of Biblical principles to moral choices. This course will explore how Reformation ideals were modified and to a degree subverted by the newer ideals of the Enlightenment and Modern eras.  Writing Intensive. Fall/Spring
