Christian Mission Minor - Business Emphasis

Requirements:

Required Minor Core courses: 12 credit hours

Business Emphasis: 9 credit hours

BSM 48V - Business Missions Internship

One of the following sequences: (6 credit hours)

One of the following (if needed to fulfill the nine-hour requirement):

ACT 203 - Elementary Accounting I
BUS 213 - Principles of Management (if not selected above)
MKT 223 - Marketing (if not selected above)
ECN 203 - Macroeconomics (if not selected above)
BUS 313 - Business Law I

Required Collateral Course:

FAM 103 - Introduction to Sociology

Note:

Students with this minor are encouraged to take at least two semesters of foreign language study.
Students majoring or minoring in Business or Accounting cannot take the Business emphasis in the minor. However, if a student majoring in Business or Accounting completes the required courses for the minor with this emphasis, his or her transcript will indicate a “Christian Mission Emphasis” as part of the major.
Students can receive credit for no more than one emphasis in the Christian Mission Minor.
The internship portion of the Christian Mission minor must be completed without withdrawing from the College. Internships requiring students to relocate during the fall and/or spring semester(s) will not be approved.
