The Allied Health Science Interdisciplinary Major will prepare students for graduate programs in areas such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Athletic Training, Clinical Exercise Physiology, etc. The program offers a diverse curriculum with a foundation in Biology, Chemistry, Math and Exercise Science. Each graduate program may have specific prerequisites other than what is offered in this program. Students should inquire from all graduate schools of interest all necessary prerequisites prior to completion of this program. Completing the Allied Health Science major does not ensure candidates will be accepted to graduate school. Many programs are of a highly competitive nature and will evaluate each candidate on their merits for admission. It is recommended that students maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the program to be considered for entry into most graduate school programs.
