HTE 403 - Islam and the Christian East to 1500 A.D.

This class will explore the origin of the interaction between Islam and Christianity by investigating the rise and spread of Islam, the development of a flourishing Islamic civilization, the Byzantine Empire, and the development of the Christian church in the East.
