FCN 104 - Introductory Food Study Credit Hours: 4 Prerequisite: major or minor in Family and Consumer Sciences, Nutrition and Dietetics, or Hotel and Restaurant Management program or permission. Basic principles in selection and preparation of food products based on chemical and physical properties of food. The safety of the food supply is also investigated. Lecture three hours per week, laboratory two hours per week. Fall/Spring
