Credit Hours: 4 A course intended for students with little or no scientific background, covering the solar system, distances and motions of stars, the light from stars, stellar evolution, star clusters, galaxies and cosmology. Sky observation with the College’s 8” reflector is included. It is recommended that PHY 104 and MAT 013 be taken prior to Astronomy. Offered Occasionally.
